Press Operator and Shop Worker

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Temporary Press Operator and Shop Worker to join our production team.

Press Operator and Shop Worker Details:

  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • $ 15.00 / hour
  • Full Time work available
  • First Shift (Sunday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)
  • Demands a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to teamwork,
  • Operate press machinery efficiently and safely, adhering to all job specifications and production schedules.
  • Perform a variety of general shop and warehouse tasks, including material handling and organization, as needed.
  • Accurately read and interpret highly detailed job orders and technical instructions to ensure product quality.
  • Communicate effectively and collaborate closely with team members to maintain workflow and achieve production goals.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment by following all safety protocols.

Press Operator and Shop Worker

Qualifications:

  • Basic computer literacy for general navigation and simple data entry tasks.
  • Proficiency in accurately reading a tape measure down to 1/16th of an inch.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to accurately follow complex written instructions.
  • Strong verbal communication skills for effective team collaboration and understanding directions.

* Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience as a Press Machine Operator.

Experience with in the printing industry or a related production environment Familiarity with basic maintenance of light machinery.

Experience with Graphic Design software.
* Knowledge of various materials (e.g., paper, wood, plastics, coatings).
