Key Responsibilities:- Lead and coordinate daily machine shop activities to meet production, quality, and safety goals.
- Assign work, prioritize jobs, and monitor team performance and productivity.
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC and manual machining equipment as needed.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Ensure machined parts meet required dimensions, tolerances, and quality standards.
- Support and train machinists on proper machining techniques, tooling, and safe work practices.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance and report equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Monitor tooling, materials, and shop supplies to support production needs.
- Enforce safety procedures, housekeeping standards, and proper use of PPE.
- Identify machining issues and support continuous improvement of processes, quality, and efficiency.
