Travel RN - Emergency Room; ER

Overview

We're looking for Emergency Room Registered Nurses for an immediate travel nurse opening in Bryan, TX. The right RN should have 1–2 years of recent acute care experience. As an ER Travel Nurse, you will work with a diverse team of caregivers to evaluate, triage, and implement care using correct procedures and physician instructions. You should have experience caring for patients in a fast‑paced, urgent and emergency environment.

• Evaluate, triage, and implement care following physician instructions.
• Perform minor medical operations.
• Advise patients and families on illnesses or injuries.
• Plan long‑term care needs.
• Document medical history and track patient vital signs.
• Monitor patients’ emotional and physical well‑being.
• Provide basic bedside care.
• Clean and bandage wounds.
• Provide IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
• Stand and walk for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and cope with stressful situations while relating to patients of all ages and backgrounds.

ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH, 3 years
