- Collect and process donor samples for processing and testing
- Record the weight of products and samples
- Label samples and freeze units within the required timeframe
- Pack units for final shipment
- Pack samples and prepare shipping boxes for the testing laboratory
- Monitor stored products
- Report equipment working conditions
- Maintain accurate donor files
- Handle shipping and inventory control
- Maintain active communication and quality
- High School diploma or GED
- Superior customer service standards
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Great organizational, computer, and trouble-shooting skills
- Comfortable being exposed to extreme temperatures
- Ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to listen to and understand spoken information and ideas
- Ability to perform precise coordinated finger, hand, and wrist movements
- Hearing acuity essential
- Color perception/discrimination
- Near and far vision correctable in one eye to 20/30 and the other eye to 20/100
- Ability to stand for 4 to 6 hours per day
- Ability to bend and twist neck and waist for 1–2 hours per day
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., including 25–35 lbs. for 1–2 hours per day
- Ability to use personal protective equipment and work around biological fluids, infectious organisms, electrical equipment, and temperatures below 32°F
