*** Candidates with experience in cellular electrophysiology, receptor neuropharmacology and drug discovery, and protein biochemistry and structural biology will be well-suited for this role.
*** You’ll apply your specialized skills using advanced genetic mouse models and techniques like confocal imaging, brain-slice electrophysiology, in vivo methods, molecular biology, and behavioral assays. ** Responsibilities:
**** Conduct Experiments
*** Responsible for conducting experiments to address the role of glutamate receptors in the central nervous system using a multidisciplinary approach.
* Performs various techniques such as electrophysiology, in vivo manipulations, molecular biology, protein biochemistry, drug discovery and behavioral analysis.
** Data Analysis
*** Uses electrophysiology, molecular biology, and drug discovery to answer the research questions.
** Publications
* ** Compile reports for publication and funded or future grant applications.
* Publishes research findings in peer reviewed journals.
