What we wantThe Research Assistant provides skilled, administrative, and technical support in research. Assists with phases in a research project. Assists in preparing proposals for funding agencies, operations of research equipment, and other lab/field personnel in research. Collaborates with other research personnel.
What you need to knowSchedule:
May have to work on the weekend and/or after normal hours.
Travel:
May travel as required.

- Research:
Assists in the design, planning, and coordination of experiments in support of various research projects. - Selects and applies standard techniques of routine research and keeps detailed record of data.
- Assists in the installation and operation of research equipment.
- May repair research equipment.
- Uses and computers and laboratory or technical equipment to perform data analysis, statistical analysis and technical evaluation of research experiments and results.
- Evaluates and summarizes experiment results.
- Research Publications:
Assists in preparing and writing proposals to funding agencies; maintains financial accounts related to research projects. - Assists with reports, invoices, and cataloging records.
- Mentorship:
Assists undergraduate and/or graduate students and other laboratory, technical or field staff involved in research. - Administrative Tasks Maintains records, data files, and regulatory documents for research study.
- Attends meetings and phone conferences regarding the study with researchers, clinicians, and sponsors.
- Generate data reports to determine feasibility for upcoming studies.
- Maintains and organizes inventory of study supplies and equipment
- Other duties as assigned
- Required
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, mental health, or related field. - Working knowledge of MS Office
- Experience with Excel spreadsheets and database data entry.
- At least one year of relevant experience in a research or clinical setting.
- Experience with quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
- Familiarity with database management (ex Red Cap) and electronic medical records (ex EPIC).
- Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing
- Ability to positively and professionally interact with clients and staff
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others
