Scan Scape Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps throughout the store. The data collected is analyzed and used to improve the sales performance of the product and retailer (store).
Being a Retail Scan Associate offers an opportunity in retail, providing workplace independence, some flexibility in hours, and job consistency. There will be continuous physical activity throughout the workday shift.

Bryan, TX 77802 - Available Workdays:
- Grocery – Wednesday, Thursday
- Mass Retailer – Monday, Tuesday
- Convenience – Monday, Tuesday
Perform in-store data collections at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks. Use a mobile app to scan barcodes in various store locations and provide quantity for about 45% of the products scanned.
Base hours average 10–15 hours per week, with additional 1–2 hours per week per store for special projects. Work scheduling details are reviewed during the interview.
Adhere to weekly deadlines and deliver quality-driven data. Custom projects may add 30 minutes to 2 hours weekly.
Qualifications- At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
- Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
- Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods and access products throughout the store.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and perform necessary bending, stretching, straightening, and standing motions.
- Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Self-starter who is deadline-driven.
- Reliable Wi‑Fi access.
- Tech savvy.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
The position is expected to remain open for approximately 30 days and may close earlier if sufficient qualified candidates are identified.
