Retail Sales Associate

We are currently looking for a full‑time retail sales associate to join our team. The position offers an hourly wage ranging from $11.00 to $14.00 per hour with the opportunity to earn up to 8% commission on transactions.

We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. A pawnbroker/retail sales associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. They greet, engage, and interact with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions across a wide variety of merchandise, including jewelry, tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.

• Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non‑management open/close procedures.
• Maintains a clean, stocked sales floor and displays merchandise.
• Processes sales and loan transactions following policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Handles cash and negotiable items per established policies.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Effectively communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates with coworkers and managers respectfully and effectively.
• Partners with all employees to create a positive customer experience.
• Successfully completes assigned training.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to perform duties and tasks for extended periods of time (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting).
• Ability to work with firearms and be firearms certified.
• May be asked to assist customers outside the building premises.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, be team‑oriented.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency in basic math calculations.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to work at multiple locations as needed.
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.

Commission incentive plan allows employees to earn 2–8% based on the gross profit of their personal performance. Detailed information is provided during the interview process. Pay rates will not be below applicable local minimum wage requirements.
