Aquatic Biologist

GPAC is seeking an Aquatic Biologist to support lake and pond assessment, management, and restoration projects for private and public clients.

• Conduct field assessments, water quality sampling, and biological surveys
• Identify aquatic plants, algae, and invasive species
• Analyze data and develop management recommendations
• Prepare reports and communicate findings to clients
• Assist with project implementation and monitoring

• Bachelor's degree in Aquatic Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, or related field
• Knowledge of freshwater ecosystems
• Ability to perform outdoor fieldwork in varying conditions
• Valid driver's license and strong communication skills

• Master's degree or relevant industry experience
• Familiarity with lake/pond management practices and regulations
• Aquatic pesticide applicator license (or ability to obtain)
