GPAC is seeking an Aquatic Biologist to support lake and pond assessment, management, and restoration projects for private and public clients.
Responsibilities- Conduct field assessments, water quality sampling, and biological surveys
- Identify aquatic plants, algae, and invasive species
- Analyze data and develop management recommendations
- Prepare reports and communicate findings to clients
- Assist with project implementation and monitoring
- Bachelor's degree in Aquatic Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, or related field
- Knowledge of freshwater ecosystems
- Ability to perform outdoor fieldwork in varying conditions
- Valid driver's license and strong communication skills
- Master's degree or relevant industry experience
- Familiarity with lake/pond management practices and regulations
- Aquatic pesticide applicator license (or ability to obtain)
