General Maintenance Technician - Facilities Services

General

Summary:

This position performs basic maintenance duties and assist maintenance technicians on more difficult or technical duties to maintain county facilities.

Assist plumbing, HVAC, electrical, painting, carpentry, and jail technicians as needed to perform general maintenance for all county buildings;

Change light bulbs, ceiling tiles, hanging pictures, plaques, and wall boards in county offices and buildings;

Confers with supervisor concerning construction, alteration, maintenance, and repair projects.
