Position Overview

We are recruiting for a Service Technician opportunity with an established RV dealership and service operation.

This is a hands-on repair position for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working with tools, solving problems, and learning a specialized trade. RV service experience is helpful, but it is not required. The company is open to training someone who has the right mechanical aptitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn.

Candidates with experience in home repair, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, construction, carpentry, appliance repair, maintenance, automotive, trailers, or general handyman work could be a strong fit for this position.

The work is varied, so this is a good opportunity for someone who does not want to do the exact same thing every day. Technicians may work on plumbing issues, electrical problems, roof repairs, appliance repairs, slide-outs, awnings, trim, doors, fixtures, and other RV-related service needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on RV repairs and service work

• Troubleshoot basic electrical, plumbing, appliance, and mechanical issues

• Repair or replace parts, fixtures, trim, seals, doors, awnings, and related components

• Assist with roof repairs, sealant work, slide-outs, and general RV maintenance

• Use hand tools and power tools safely and properly

• Read and follow work orders, instructions, and repair notes

• Communicate repair progress and issues with the service team

• Inspect completed work for quality, safety, and accuracy

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Continue learning RV systems, repair methods, and service processes

What We're Looking For

• RV service experience is a plus, but not required

• Home repair, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, maintenance, or mechanical experience preferred

• Must be comfortable using hand tools and power tools

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability

• Willingness to learn and be trained

• Dependable attendance and a good work ethic

• Ability to work on your feet and handle physical repair work

• Able to follow instructions and complete work safely

• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Best-Fit Candidate

The best fit is someone who is mechanically inclined, reliable, and willing to learn. This person does not need to be a certified RV technician, but they do need to be comfortable working with tools, troubleshooting problems, and doing hands-on repair work.

Someone who has fixed things in homes, worked maintenance, handled basic electrical or plumbing repairs, repaired trailers or equipment, or has a strong handyman background could do well in this role.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build a skill set in a specialized trade and grow into a long-term service technician role.
