Location:
Bryan, TX
Pay: $17.00 to $18.00 per hour, negotiable based on office equipment experience
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

About the OpportunitySnelling is hiring a Field Service Technician for a well-established Bryan company that is looking for someone who wants more than just a job. This is a long-term career opportunity with a service team known for stability, training, and employee tenure.

Many of the company's current Service Technicians have been with the organization for 10 to over 40 years. They are looking for someone dependable, mechanically inclined, and eager to learn a skilled trade.

This position is a strong fit for someone who enjoys working with their hands, using tools, solving problems, taking equipment apart, and putting it back together.

Mechanical, electronic, copier/printer, field service, or IT experience is helpful, but not required. The right attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn are the most important qualities.

Position SummaryAs a Field Service Technician, you will service copiers, printers, and related office equipment at customer locations. Technicians report to the Bryan office each morning at 8:00 AM, then travel to customer sites throughout the service area.

New technicians will receive hands-on training, online training, and ride-along training with experienced technicians. During the first few months, new team members will typically stay close to the Bryan/College Station area while they learn the role and receive support.

Key Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot and repair copiers, printers, and related office equipment

• Use hand tools to take equipment apart, repair components, and reassemble machines

• Read manuals and follow troubleshooting steps to diagnose equipment issues

• Travel to customer locations to perform service calls

• Handle some IT-related service calls remotely through desktop applications

• Communicate professionally with customers and team members

• Complete service documentation accurately

• Maintain a dependable daily schedule and report to the Bryan office on time

• Participate in hands-on, online, and ride-along training

• Learn the technical skills needed to grow into a long-term service career

Schedule and Travel
• Monday through Friday

• 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

• One-hour lunch break

• Daily report time is 8:00 AM at the Bryan office

• Service territory is approximately an 85-mile radius from the Bryan office

• Most customer accounts are within a 50-mile radius

• Daily travel varies and may occasionally reach approximately 150 miles in one day

• Mileage reimbursement is paid monthly through direct deposit

Pay and Reimbursements
• Starting pay is $17.00 to $18.00 per hour

• Pay is negotiable based on office equipment experience

• Mileage reimbursement provided monthly
• $30.00 per month paid toward personal mobile phone data usage

• Tools provided

On-the-job training provided

• Online training provided
