Deftech - Audio​/Video Technician

CEO Technologies / High Definition Technologies (Def Tech) is an experienced company that specializes in technology and IOT services. We have an immediate need for an experienced AV / IOT Technician. Pay is competitive and will be commensurate with experience.

• Knowledge of residential systems integration including audio/video, lighting, shades, climate control, security, and computer networks including the ability to set up, configure & calibrate.
• An understanding of signal flows and control systems for distributed audio, video, and home theater systems and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems.
• Proficient with hand and power tools used to complete physical installations of speakers, displays, equipment racks, and ventilation systems.
• Physical requirements include climbing ladders and reaching & crawling into tight places, plus the ability to lift 80 lbs plus.
• Occasional on-call days and/or overtime available/required for unscheduled service needs.
• All associates are required to have reliable means of transportation.
• Ability to work under pressure, assess multiple demands, and manage priorities.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, via email, by phone, or by text to varied audiences.
• The highest level of attention to detail.
• Control4 certification and 2 years Control4 experience preferred.
• Security license is a plus.
