EVAPCO, is searching for the ideal candidate to fill the position of CO2 Refrigeration Service Technician.

Job Summary- Perform refrigeration service and repair activities on Evapco‑LMP CO2 packages installed in the field at food and beverage, cold storage, ice rinks, pharmaceutical and related facilities.
- Provide service support and startup services to Evapco’s industrial refrigeration customers installing and maintaining the Evapco‑LMP and Evapcold packaged refrigeration systems.
- This includes a working knowledge of trans critical CO2 refrigeration systems, related system components, electrical troubleshooting common types of CO2 systems & control/alarm systems.
- Demonstrate an understanding and adherence to all work safety policies, procedures and governing requirements.
- Ability to work unsupervised or with limited instruction.
- Position requires regular travel to Evapco LMP project installations in the US and Canada.
- This position will be based out of TX and be backed up by Evapco’s industry‑leading technical support staff and customer service teams.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive work experience in CO2 refrigeration service.
- RETA operator or technician certifications a plus. Any experience with ammonia refrigeration systems is also a plus.
- Valid Driver's license and a safe driving record.
- Physically able to climb ladders, work at high elevations and lift objects up to fifty pounds.
- Must be able to pass physical examination and possible Respirator Fit Testing.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, detail oriented and highly motivated.
- Availability to be on call nights and/or weekends as required.
- Basic computer skills (electronic documentation).
