As ABC's Seasonal Holiday Lighting Installer, you will be professionally installing, maintaining, and removing Holiday light systems at residential and commercial customer locations. This is a seasonal position from October to February, however, ABC is looking for great people in all our divisions. Your performance in this position may put you at the front of the line for other opportunities if you'd like to explore one of the many great jobs at ABC.

• Always maintain a positive attitude with customers, fellow employees, and supervisors.
• Receive full training on ladder safety and fall-restraint systems when working on roofs.
• Work with a 3-person team of experienced Holiday Light installers to custom create, install and take-down holiday light systems at customer properties.
• Work from ladders and on roofs.
• Ensure the safety of yourself and others on your team by maintaining our safety standards.
• During the slow period of Jan
  - Feb employees will assist in the Lawn Department.

Requirements

• No specific Holiday Lighting experience is required. We are looking for people with a solid work ethic as well as the ability to follow instructions and work well with others.
• MUST be comfortable with heights - you will climb ladders reaching heights of 20-30 feet, as well as work on pitched roofs. (Fall-restraint training and equipment is provided)
• Ladder/Roof/Tree/Aerial Lift work experience would be great but is not required.
• Ability to work outside for long periods of time.
• Able to lift 20+ pounds from ground to roof on a ladder.
• Capable of safely moving and using heavy extension ladders (training provided)
• MUST have reliable transportation to our shop.
• Some Saturdays during peak installation season (November-December).
• Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Any outdoor, manual labor experience is preferred as our line of work can be physically demanding.
