Position: Aircraft Maintenance Technician - RW Float - Located in Bryan, TX

College Station, TX

Compensation
  • Starting Salary: $65,239 - $113,480 annually
  • Float Stipend: $12,500
  • IA Stipend: $2,080
  • Sign-On Bonus: $12,500
Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs, and provide regular status updates to the Lead Technician.
  • Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment; regularly update the equipment tracking log and place replacement requests as necessary, documenting part expenditures.
  • Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required; adhere to company policies, procedures, and information security standards.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
  • Use appropriate communication methods to coordinate efforts between departments, vendors, and team members.
  • Collaborate professionally with allied health, public safety personnel, fellow AMTs, and the operations team.
Minimum

Required Qualifications
  • EC135 maintenance experience.
  • Three (3) years of turbine helicopter maintenance experience, with at least six months of helicopter maintenance experience within the last 24 months.
  • Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
  • Valid state‑issued driver’s license.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Experience with EMS systems, aircraft maintenance systems, records, and maintenance support and planning.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and 24/7 on‑call rotations.
  • Acceptance of FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
  • Ability to push or pull 100+ lbs.; lift or carry up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • FAA Inspection Authorization certification.
  • Experience under CFR Part 135.
  • Autopilot maintenance experience.
  • Avionics and electrical repair experience.
