Job Description
Location:
College Station, TX
- Starting Salary: $65,239 - $113,480 annually
- Float Stipend: $12,500
- IA Stipend: $2,080
- Sign-On Bonus: $12,500
- Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs, and provide regular status updates to the Lead Technician.
- Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment; regularly update the equipment tracking log and place replacement requests as necessary, documenting part expenditures.
- Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required; adhere to company policies, procedures, and information security standards.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
- Use appropriate communication methods to coordinate efforts between departments, vendors, and team members.
- Collaborate professionally with allied health, public safety personnel, fellow AMTs, and the operations team.
Required Qualifications
- EC135 maintenance experience.
- Three (3) years of turbine helicopter maintenance experience, with at least six months of helicopter maintenance experience within the last 24 months.
- Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
- Valid state‑issued driver’s license.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Experience with EMS systems, aircraft maintenance systems, records, and maintenance support and planning.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and 24/7 on‑call rotations.
- Acceptance of FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
- Ability to push or pull 100+ lbs.; lift or carry up to 50 lbs.
- FAA Inspection Authorization certification.
- Experience under CFR Part 135.
- Autopilot maintenance experience.
- Avionics and electrical repair experience.
