Operates standard and manual box trucks to transport materials, merchandise, and donations to and from retail centers, the regional plant, and vendor locations in support of Goodwill's daily operations.
Key Responsibilities Vehicle Operation & Routing- Select routing for retail center service and collection of donated items.
- Operate vehicle in a safe and lawful manner at all times.
- Complete daily vehicle inspection report in SAMSARA.
- Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of assigned vehicle.
- Complete all scheduled pickups daily.
- Load and off-load production and merchandise for stores, plant, and vendors.
- Collect and transport trash as needed.
- Pick up and drop off donation trailers as directed.
- Demonstrate proper use of dollies, forklifts, hand trucks, and other tools as needed.
- Utilize appropriate safety techniques for lifting, carrying, and transporting goods, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and carts.
- Confirm load drop-offs and receipts with Store Manager or ASM.
- Assist with outlet duties, mail pickup, and taking company vehicles in for service as assigned.

Qualifications- All individuals must pass a drug screen.
- A criminal background check is required.
- Must have a valid driver's license and pass a motor vehicle report.
- Must be willing to accept instructions and carry them out with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work and cooperate with others.
High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum Requirements- Valid Class C Texas Driver's License or higher.
- Ability to read and follow simple written and oral instructions.
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using units of money, weight, volume, and distance.
- Ability to operate box trucks and manual vehicles safely.
- Skill in using material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, dollies, hand trucks).
- Ability to solve practical problems and adapt to varied situations with limited standardization.

- Regularly use hands to handle, feel, and operate controls; talk and hear.
- Frequently stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

- Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.; frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.; occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
- Maintain close, distance, peripheral, and depth vision with the ability to adjust focus.
- Frequently exposed to outside weather conditions.
- Frequently exposed to fumes and airborne particles including dust, animal hair, and lint.
- Noise level ranges from moderate to very loud.
