✨Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Cook at The Arkansas Juvenile Assessment and Treatment Center (AJATC) in Bryant, Arkansas.

AJATC is a secure residential program for at‑risk male and female youth, located on 110 acres just outside of Little Rock, AR. Through our trained programming for staff, AJATC promotes a normalized high school experience, offers a safe environment and provides opportunities for positive change, as well as offering unlimited potential for achievement and growth for students and staff. Our campus features residential student dormitories, on‑site school and library, vocational training program, chapel, gymnasium, medical and an outdoor recreation area.

$16.00 – $17.17 per hour based on education and experience.

As a Cook
, you will ensure that healthy and tasty food is prepared and served to the youth and staff on‑site, help maintain the cleanliness and safety of the kitchen and dining area, and be an active team player within the department. Training will be provided; however, if you have related experience and/or Serv Safe certification, you may be eligible to start above entry‑level.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test.
• Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry.
• Have a clean driving record and an active driver’s license.

AM Shift: 4:30 AM – 1:00 PM

PM Shift: 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
