The primary function of the Board‑Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is to plan, develop, and monitor a variety of behavioral support service delivery options for clients diagnosed with behavioral and social/communication challenges.

• Exhibit knowledge of developments and trends in developmental disabilities and aging.
• Cooperate enthusiastically and demonstrate interest in all areas necessary for the success of FCC and associated services.
• Ensure compliance with State/Federal law and CARF accreditation.
• Interview, hire, train RBTs; plan, assign, and direct work; evaluate performance; address complaints and resolve problems.
• Prepare timely reports for CARF and Executive Management reviews.
• Assist in community outreach for Public Relations.
• Administer, conduct, evaluate, and supervise behavioral assessment measures (e.g., VB‑MAPP, ABLLS) and functional assessment measures.
• Develop individualized goals and objectives for home, community, and center‑based programs; design behavior support plans based on functional assessment data.
• Implement appropriate behavioral data systems to collect quantifiable data at regular intervals for ongoing plan evaluation.
• Conduct regular parent/caregiver and teacher training and consultation.
• Develop materials, training, and resources for parents/guardians in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and other evidence‑based methodologies.
• Train behavior technicians on ABA programs and individualized plans of care.
• Conduct and oversee initial RBT training.
• Observe treatments administered by behavior technicians directly.
• Facilitate natural environment interventions when appropriate.
• Review technician documentation and data collection, providing feedback as needed.
• Communicate via voicemail and email regularly.
• Provide ongoing individual program oversight and conduct weekly supervision meetings with Program Coordinators and Behavior Technicians.
• Complete all necessary documentation promptly according to written procedures and regulatory/payer guidelines.
• Develop written reports documenting behavioral recommendations for parents, caregivers, and agency personnel.
• Respond to referrals for service promptly and appropriately.
• Participate in professional meetings or conferences.
• Adhere to the mission, vision, and values of FCC.
• Maintain confidentiality of all information in compliance with the Friendship Community Care Non‑Disclosure Policy and HIPAA Policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor and management.

• At least three years of experience serving individuals with ASDs across a full range of skills and abilities.
• Experience with staff training and supervision.

• Master’s degree in behavior analysis or related field.
• BCBA certification.

Ability to read, write and interpret medical history, assess reports and relevant data; write routine reports and correspondence; speak effectively before groups of customers or employees within the organization.

Ability to perform basic arithmetic, compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and interpret bar graphs.

Ability to solve practical problems and handle a variety of concrete variables with limited standardization; interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Regular use of hands to manipulate objects; frequent standing, walking, reaching, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds; adequate vision including color, depth, and peripheral perception; ability to adjust focus. Reasonable accommodation may be provided for individuals with disabilities.
