Reports To: Technology Director or Assistant Technology Director

Positions Supervised: None
Work Schedule: 240‑day contract. Hours are typically 7:30‑4:00 daily with a 30‑minute lunch and two 15‑minute breaks. The daily schedule may vary depending on the needs of the district.
- Assist with network installations and configurations.
- Maintain familiarity with multiple computer environments.
- Communicate effectively and promptly with teachers and staff.
- Prioritize repair tickets and respond to issues in a timely manner.
- Perform quality workmanship and maintain district property.
- Provide on‑site and remote technical support for technology systems.
- Organize and inventory hardware and software resources.
- Communicate with the Technology Director regarding tasks and projects.
- Analyze equipment performance records to determine need for repair or replacement.
- Diagnose hardware and software problems and replace defective components.
- Research new technologies and recommend implementation.
- Work independently in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Apply standard wiring and safety practices.
- Collaborate with Network Engineer and Systems Administrator teams.
- Maintain communication with vendors for warranty and repair services.
- Manage user accounts in accordance with system policies.
- Deliver and set up new equipment.
- Adhere to all district policies.
- Report any suspected child endangerment, neglect, abuse, or bullying as required by law.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Technology Director or Assistant Technology Director.
- High School Graduate or GED required.
- Associate’s Degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
- Prior experience as a computer field support technician preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency with computers and related programs.
- Successful completion of pre‑employment background checks.
- Appropriate personal and professional conduct at all times around students, staff, and the public.
- Current Arkansas driver’s license.

Stand, walk, sit, manually manipulate, reach outward, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, squat or kneel, bend, grasp – activities varying from occasional to constant. Lift/Carry up to 100 lbs. Push/Pull up to 100 lbs.
