Direct Juvenile Support Worker at The Arkansas Juvenile Assessment and Treatment Center (AJATC), Bryant, Arkansas.
AJATC is a secure residential program for at‑risk male and female youth, located on 110 acres just outside Little Rock, AR. Our campus features residential dormitories, an on‑site school, library, vocational training, chapel, gymnasium, medical facilities and an outdoor recreation area. We offer a high school–level experience, nurturing opportunities for positive change, growth and achievement for students and staff.
Pay
: $17.75 – $18.82 per hour based on education and experience. Schedule includes 4 hours of guaranteed overtime each pay period.

A Direct Juvenile Support Worker provides in‑person safety and security 24/7. You will attend to the physical, personal and health needs of each youth through individual mentoring and skill development. You will create a supportive environment, monitor and document behaviors and activities, and assist with educational, social, athletic and recreational activities. Collaboration with other professional staff to establish and meet the goals of each youth’s treatment plan is also required.
This position works directly on the Intake & Assessment Unit.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum age 21.
- Pass a criminal background check, drug, physical and TB test.
- Pass a child and adult abuse registry check.
- Meet requirements to become a ROP eligible driver, including a valid Driver’s License.
4 days on/3 off or 3 days on/4 off. Day Shift: 7 am – 8 pm (12‑hour shift with 1‑hour break).
