Guidance Counselor

Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Guidance Counselor in Bryant, Arkansas.

AJATC is a secure residential program for at-risk youth, located on 110 acres just outside of Little Rock, AR. Our campus features residential student dormitories, on-site school and library, vocational training program, chapel, gymnasium, medical services, and an outdoor recreation area. We welcome all who are passionate about making a difference and growing with us.

Pay
: starting at $60,000 a year and increasing based on level of education and experience.

What you will do
:

• Provide students with tools and support to succeed in school and beyond.
• Develop graduation and career plans; offer individual and group counseling.
• Prepare students for employment or post-secondary education.
• Collaborate with case managers, families, and community partners to guide students through transitions.
• Facilitate job readiness and life skills programs; mentor and serve as a positive role model.

To be considered you should
:

• Possess a minimum of a Master's Degree
  .
• Possess current licensure in Arkansas for Guidance & Counseling
  .
• Have Case Management experience and prior experience with juvenile placement agencies.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to pass criminal background check, drug screen, physical, TB test, and a search of the child and adult abuse central registry.

Schedule
:
Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
