Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Guidance Counselor in Bryant, Arkansas.
AJATC is a secure residential program for at-risk youth, located on 110 acres just outside of Little Rock, AR. Our campus features residential student dormitories, on-site school and library, vocational training program, chapel, gymnasium, medical services, and an outdoor recreation area. We welcome all who are passionate about making a difference and growing with us.
Pay
: starting at $60,000 a year and increasing based on level of education and experience.

What you will do
:
- Provide students with tools and support to succeed in school and beyond.
- Develop graduation and career plans; offer individual and group counseling.
- Prepare students for employment or post-secondary education.
- Collaborate with case managers, families, and community partners to guide students through transitions.
- Facilitate job readiness and life skills programs; mentor and serve as a positive role model.
To be considered you should
:
- Possess a minimum of a Master's Degree
. - Possess current licensure in Arkansas for Guidance & Counseling
. - Have Case Management experience and prior experience with juvenile placement agencies.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be able to pass criminal background check, drug screen, physical, TB test, and a search of the child and adult abuse central registry.
Schedule
:
Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
