AJATC is a secure residential program for at-risk male and female youth, located on 110 acres just outside of Little Rock, AR. Through our trained programming for staff, AJATC promotes a normalized high school experience, offers a safe environment and provides opportunities for positive change, as well as providing the unlimited potential for achievement and growth for students and staff. Our campus features residential student dormitories, on-site school and library, vocational training program, chapel, gymnasium, medical and an outdoor recreation area.

Pay: $17 per hour

What you will do: The Human Resources Assistant works directly with the Human Resources Specialist to support the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department. This position assists with new hire processing, employee records, HR documentation, and general administrative duties while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy. Assists with the new hire process, including compiling personnel file information, conducting employment verifications, and advising employees of missing documentation required for employment.
Follows up on outstanding new hire documentation and pending medical tests and assists with establishing employee personnel and medical files. Provides professional and courteous customer service to employees, applicants, supervisors, and visitors.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year experience working in an office environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, Google Docs, and other computer-based systems, with the ability to learn and navigate new software independently.
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test
- Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry
- Must meet the requirements to become an ROP eligible driver, including having a valid Driver's License
Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
