Position SummaryThe primary focus of this role is daily field coordination of construction work on occupied apartment properties. This position will work closely with the DCAS Project Manager to support successful project completion. Clear communication with subcontractors, Property Management, and Development is essential.
The Superintendent is responsible for daily communication, schedule coordination, issue resolution, construction quality, workmanship, and ensuring work is completed safely, correctly, and on schedule.
Essential Functions- 3‑10 years’ experience in multi‑family construction including exteriors, site work, unit renovation and amenity remodels required.
- Two‑ or four‑year degree in Construction Management preferred.
- Experience managing occupied rehabs and ADA remodels preferred.
- Experience in the construction industry with a multi‑family general contractor.
- Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative.
- Professional with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Computer proficiency with Office products including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Proficient with uploading photos and editing PDF documents.
- Procore software and Microsoft Project experience is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and ability to commute to jobsites.
- Current OSHA 30 Safety Training Card preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
