Village Grove Dental Care is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team located in the Verrado community in Buckeye, Arizona. This position is part of Heartland Dental, the nation's largest dental support organization, where supported doctors and hygienists work as independent clinical leaders who provide the highest quality dental care and patient experiences.
Role OverviewAs a Dental Hygienist, you will be an integral member of the patient care team, providing time, care, and education to patients to help them achieve optimal oral health. You will work within a collaborative, 17‑person team that values communication, community, and professional growth.

- Current dental hygienist license in Arizona and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
- 1–2 years of clinical experience
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital X‑rays, and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patients' needs and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of dental health
- Clinical adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the office
- Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in‑person) periodically throughout the year
- TB test required for all new hires in dental office positions, except in FL & TN. The test will be arranged during the pre‑employment process.
