Senior Geospatial Project Manager

• Lead project delivery from award through closeout on existing accounts and newly won work
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, technical direction, and quality control
• Serve as primary client contact and manage expectations and communication throughout delivery
• Manage project financials, including budgets, fee tracking, earned value, margin, and utilization
• Report project status to leadership
• Coordinate LiDAR, photogrammetry, and GIS production teams to staff and execute projects
• Provide technical direction and quality control
• Dedicate roughly a quarter of time to business development, including identifying opportunities, supporting proposals, and pursuing new work
• Build client relationships that lead to repeat business and expanded scopes
• Develop project schedules and resource plans across production, survey, and CADD staff
• Review and troubleshoot LiDAR, imagery, and GIS deliverables
• Coordinate with transportation, transmission, water/wastewater, environmental, planning, and architecture service lines for cross-selling opportunities
• Mentor project staff and support technical and professional development
• Prepare and present project status updates, risk assessments, and change management communications to clients and leadership

• Solid technical background in LiDAR, photogrammetry, and GIS
• Hands-on project delivery experience
• History of project development from early client interaction through proposal, award, and delivery
• Experience managing project and operational financial metrics, including budgets, margins, utilization, and forecasting
• Strong client management skills
• Business development experience, including identifying opportunities and supporting proposals
• Ability to operate independently and collaborate across a matrixed team environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Geography, GIS, Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Typically 7+ years of progressive experience in geospatial project delivery, with prior project management responsibility
• Willingness to travel to client sites, project locations, and industry events as needed
• Professional licensure or certification (PLS, GISP, or equivalent) a plus
• Must be able to work without employer-sponsored work visa support

Demonstrates expertise in managing geospatial project delivery, including LiDAR, photogrammetry, and GIS, while effectively overseeing project financials and client relationships. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive business development initiatives.
