Financial Reporting, Financial Manager, Financial Compliance, Financial Analyst
We are looking for a Financial Director to unify and lead the financial function across the group's three companies — Dream Habitat, Top Insured, and Premier Leads. This role will be responsible for understanding how each business operates financially, standardizing accounting practices across entities, and delivering clear, consolidated visibility into the performance, profitability, and financial reporting of the group as a whole.
We need someone who can build a single financial structure out of three distinct operations — mortgage origination, insurance brokerage, and lead generation — and give the CEO a clear, unified view of where the business stands at any point in time. Responsibilities:
Accounting Oversight Prepare consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements covering all three companies, as well as entity-level statements for each. Deliver a clear picture of profitability, cash position, and financial performance by company and consolidated across the group. Provide variance analysis and financial recommendations at both the entity and group level. Build a reporting cadence and dashboard that gives the CEO visibility into all three businesses without needing to review each separately.
Treasury & Funding Forecast and manage company-wide cash flow. Oversee funds tied to loan funding, warehouse lines, and investor accounts. Reconcile commissions, table funding, and servicing released premiums (SRP). Track liquidity and net worth requirements on an ongoing basis.
Reporting & Planning Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to leadership. Provide variance analysis and actionable financial recommendations. Build annual budgets, forecasts, and profitability models by business line. Evaluate loan-level margins and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Stakeholder & Regulatory Management Maintain relationships with warehouse lenders, investors, banks, and financial partners. Ensure compliance with financial obligations tied to mortgage operations (net worth, liquidity, investor reporting). Lead external audits, investor due diligence, and regulatory reviews. Oversee reconciliations with escrow/title companies and other closing-related parties.
Systems & Strategy Define and roll out financial policies and procedures company-wide. Drive improvements to financial systems and tools (Quick Books, ERP, LOS financial modules). Serve as financial advisor to the CEO and COO on growth, expansion, and new business lines.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. 5+ years in a senior financial management or director-level role. Direct experience in the U.S. mortgage or financial services industry (required). Track record leading accounting or finance teams. Hands-on experience managing warehouse lenders, investors, or banking relationships. Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis. Experience leading external audits and due diligence processes.
CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification a plus. Advanced English (C1+) required. Bilingual English-Spanish. Comfortable working with distributed, international teams.
