Job Responsibilities
- Reviews and monitors credit sources, credit files, customer applications and delinquent accounts.
- Obtains required information from credit organizations, banks and loan associations.
- Maintains records on credit risks, delinquent accounts and incomplete files.
- Mails follow-up letters to customers to encourage payment of delinquent accounts.
- Confers with customers by telephone to determine the reason for overdue payment and reviews terms of sales, service, or credit contract with customer.
- Receives and posts payments on customer accounts.
- Records information about financial status of customer and status of collection efforts.
- Ensures proper sorting and filing of correspondence.
- High School Diploma or GED (accredited)
