About the RoleWe are seeking qualified contractors to fulfill the role of a Supply Chain Processor, responsible for supporting and optimizing end-to-end supply chain operations, including master data management, demand and supply planning, and inventory deployment. In this role, you will help ensure the efficiency of logistics planning and execution processes while driving continuous improvement across operations. You will be expected to work independently, analyze complex data, and progressively develop subject matter expertise within the supply chain function.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, actively participates in team discussions, and collaborates cross‑functionally to deliver effective solutions.
This opportunity offers exposure to Aerospace & Defense (A&D) supply chain processes and enterprise systems. It is open to individuals located in the Tucson, AZ area. Project hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time. Contractors are engaged and paid by a third‑party payroll supplier, Artech, which serves as the employer of record for tax and compliance purposes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain processes.
- Analyze data to identify trends and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance supply chain performance.
- Monitor and report on supply chain metrics to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Facilitate training sessions to share best practices and improve team capabilities.
- Note that expert proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning And Tolerancing (GD&T) is not required at this time but could be part of scope later.
- Support supply chain execution activities utilizing SAP systems.
- Contribute to initiatives within an Aerospace & Defense (A&D) environment.
- Deliver reporting and insights to support planning and inventory management.
- Maintain data accuracy across supply chain and engineering systems.
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
- SAP or other ERP systems
- Internal collaboration tools (Teams, shared work spaces)
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in Supply Chain Operations.
- Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in Logistics & Procurement.
- Experience with SAP or similar systems.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Aerospace & Defense (A&D) experience.
- Knowledge of supply chain execution and engineering data processes.
- Familiarity with aerospace quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and grow into an SME.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
- Note:
GD&T is not required at this time but may be included later.
- Artech determines compensation, which varies by location, role, skill set, and experience.

- California: $26 to $36
- Colorado: $24 to $32
- Cleveland, OH: $22 to $29
- Washington, DC: $28 to $38
- Illinois: $24 to $31
- Maine: $23 to $30
- Maryland: $26 to $34
- Massachusetts: $28 to $37
