Weekend Embroidery Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Embroidery Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining embroidery machines to produce high-quality embroidered products. This role requires precision, creativity, and the ability to meet production deadlines while maintaining excellent quality standards.

Saturday - Sunday (6am - 4pm). Part-time, 20 hours a week.

• Machine Setup and Operation:
  Set up embroidery machines; select threads, needles, and settings; load and align fabric or garments on frames; input and adjust digitized design files.
• Quality Control:
  Monitor the process to ensure high-quality results, troubleshoot issues, and inspect finished products for consistency and defect compliance.
• Production Management:
  Manage time efficiently to meet deadlines, prioritize multiple orders, and maintain accurate records of completed orders, thread inventory, and equipment usage.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  Work with design and production teams to interpret specifications and ensure customer satisfaction; communicate any challenges promptly to the team leader or supervisor.

• Minimum 2 years experience running an embroidery machine.
• Previous experience operating Tajima embroidery machines highly preferred.
• Familiarity with embroidery software and digitized design systems.
• Strong eye for color, patterns, and design accuracy.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and handle repetitive tasks with precision.
• Quick troubleshooting and decision‑making skills to resolve production issues.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality standards.

$21.00 per hour.
