Machine Operator II (WN) 1st Shift

Job Title

Essential Functions:

Operate machinery according to standard operating procedures. Monitor production output and quality to meet specifications. Operate overhead cranes for efficient material handling. Operate a variety of machinery, including but not limited to, bridging machines, saws, channel shears, angle shears, crimpers, and end bar benders. Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment as required. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Adhere to safety protocols.

Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Regular, reliable, punctual and consistent attendance. Must be able to work regular and/or flexible hours or shifts, overtime, weekends as required.

Requirements:
Ability to perform all job functions of Machine Operator I. 6 months of experience in a manufacturing setting preferred. Valid crane certification.

Physical Demands:
Frequent communication with others to exchange information. Frequent repetition of motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers. Frequent moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another. Frequent lifting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions. Constantly remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods. Constantly thinking and processing information.

Constantly maintaining concentration and focus on tasks.

Work Environment:
Manufacturing floor with machinery. Exposure to airborne particles, loud noises, and extreme heat and cold. Use of personal protection equipment is required.
