General Purpose
The Inventory Control/Quality Assurance Supervisor oversees daily operations of IC/QA staff, focusing on cycle counts, stock order management, and quality control audits. The role partners with Senior Business Analysts to resolve inventory issues and works with facility and engineering teams on system configurations and production improvement recommendations.
Essential Functions- Manage the collection and input of accuracy data for all distribution center processes.
- Perform cycle counts of storage locations within agreed timelines.
- Generate root‑cause reports for shrinkage and merchandise flow issues, providing visibility to DC and corporate management.
- Reconcile wave closing and stranded inventory on a daily basis.
- Execute inventory and receipt adjustments to maintain accuracy.
- Assign auditors and oversee sample data collection.
- Analyze production results, recommend improvements, and assist with vendor quality audits.
- Ensure compliance with audit standards and procedures.

- Detailed knowledge of distribution center systems, inventory control, and quality control.
- Experience analyzing data with standard statistical techniques and using reporting tools.
- 2‑4 years with an advanced Warehouse Management System, strong aptitude for information systems.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access, and SQL or preferred query capability.
- Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to interact professionally at all organizational levels.
- Sense of urgency in responding to associates’ and managers’ needs.
Work in a warehouse environment on a concrete floor all day, requiring continuous standing, walking, hearing, pushing, and pulling. Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Consistent timeliness and regular attendance required. Full‑time in‑office presence for team interaction, meetings, and collaboration.
