The Kroger Company - - - Responsibilities:
Assist the Department Manager in planning, organizing, staffing and directing Grocery Department staffing and operations to provide prompt courteous service.;
Respond to customer or associate comments, complaints, requests, accidents, and questions in a prompt, tactful and professional manner.;
Use Computer Assisted Ordering (CAO) to manage ordering quantities and ensure proper accounting of product received and balance on hand.;
Price and display merchandise, maintain signage, product rotation, freshness, and proper space allocation.;
Support company programs and policies, budgets, goals, and promotions, and supervise direct reports to improve merchandising and customer service.
