Sales Coordinators serve as a valuable resource to both Customer Success Managers and Business Development Manager within the Home Building Facility. They continuously assist in solving dealer issues, clarifying and completing sales orders, and organizing commitments and deadlines.
Duties / Responsibilities- Quoting homes via phone calls and through email, converting those quotes to orders, and canceling orders as needed.
- Completing vinyl releases, AC, and SC forms.
- Completing weekly scorecards.
- Preparing orders for release to production (printing sign-offs and final confirmations).
- Assigning serial numbers to orders and completing production change orders as needed.
- Collaborating with engineering to complete prints.
- Attending order read‑meetings with production and producing/releasing change orders to production.
- Updating backlog by estimating offline dates, production schedules, and shipping schedules as necessary.
- Logging orders in the facility SharePoint site.
- Keeping the retailer database updated regularly.
- Completing option usage reports.
- Filing homes on independent retail partner orders and verifying funds on community orders.
- Setting up new models by adding the standard features and options available to the models.
- Creating new options by working with purchasing on pricing, material relief, and assigning the options to the models.
- Reporting on 45L and Energy Star metrics.
- Coordinating shipping as needed by dispatch.
- Calculating and inputting freight, and creating YTD volume lists.
- Invoicing homes by sending MCOs and invoices to the appropriate financial institution.
- Creating data plates and month-end reporting.
- Collaborating and communicating with other facilities regarding production schedules, and acting as a backup for other facilities as necessary.
- Reviewing weekly parts and A/R reports.
- Updating material ports, layouts, and photos using website management.
- Ordering materials for house packs for customers.
- Managing key inventory tickets and creating retailer labels as needed.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of experience in a related role preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, through email, and over the phone.
- Ability to work well within a team—humble, hungry, people smart.
