Your role at a glance

Under the direction of the Security Supervisor, the Security Officer L1 is responsible for the administrative and operational duties associated with a site security team. This role works closely with the Data Center Operations Team (DCOPS) to ensure that security measures are in place and functioning properly. The Security Officer Level 1 is an experienced client-facing security officer who utilizes clear and concise communication.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring the protection of personnel and company property, managing access control, monitoring CCTV systems, responding to incidents, and completing written reports. Team members are expected to collaborate with other departments to assist with matters about the efficient operation of the data center, including Shipping & Receiving. The position enforces and adheres to security procedures based on policies determined by the Security Management team.

Your vigilance and attention to detail will contribute to maintaining a secure environment for the NTT Data Center customer and the infrastructure.
