OverviewPHI Health is a leading air ambulance provider looking for an A&P licensed mechanic with at least 2 years of experience to maintain our helicopter fleet. The role will involve daily maintenance, inspections, parts inventory, and certifications to meet FAA and manufacturer requirements.

- Review and execute daily maintenance and inspection tasks to maintain aircraft airworthiness.
- Inform Lead Mechanic of unusual situations requiring schedule changes, aircraft changes, extra manpower or technical assistance.
- Manage maintenance of all aircraft at field bases, including stock level reviews and requisitioning spares.
- Maintain safety and security of company assets at field bases.
- Prepare reports, requisitions, inventories and certify on aircraft logs and related forms to meet FAA, manufacturer and PHI Health standards.
- Log work in RAMCO, including work packages, status sheets, removals and installations.
- Communicate with Lead Mechanic and AMBS to ensure timely job completion.
- Maintain parts inventory and recommend level changes when necessary.
- Maintain company‑provided special tools and ensure calibration is performed on schedule.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe & Powerplant endorsements.
- Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience as a certified mechanic.
- Basic communication skills.
- Computer skills required.
- Pass pre‑placement physical exam (strength & flexibility, can lift up to 100 lbs), drug screening and background check.
- Sheet metal repair and/or avionics troubleshooting/repair skills (preferred).
- Ability to travel frequently with short notice during scheduled missions.
- Ability to work night shifts as required.
- 7/7 schedule.
- Must live within one‑hour drive or 60 miles of the base.
- Travel between bases required.
