HVAC Startup Technician - West Phoenix, AZ

Job Summary

As the AC Start Up & Warranty Tech, you will be responsible for working with our customers and ensuring they are offered all appropriate warranty and product service options. You will also handle final stage checks, corrections, warranty and scheduled calls.

• Troubleshoot single and three-phase installations.
• Check heating & cooling equipment is installed correctly and verify cooling and heating operations.
• Diagnose and correct malfunctioning systems and components using test equipment and hand tools.
• Assess the needs of customers and offer all appropriate products and services.
• Create and maintain a database of all leads through retail, retail new construction, and product registration.
• Provide constant feedback related to competition and current market standing.
• Build strong relationships with vendor partners to ensure up-to-date information.
• Handle product registration for retail and new construction installations.

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• One year minimum residential field experience (required).
• Two years of experience in start‑up, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting diverse HVAC service issues.
• Experience in retrofit and new construction HVAC installations.
• EPA certification (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record.
• Pass a drug screen.
• Reliable HVAC tools.

• Lift up to 30 pounds at times.
• Access in and out of attics.
