Product Installation Engineer – Extensive Travel Required

• Install and qualify advanced KLA systems at customer sites globally, ensuring installations are completed on schedule and meet quality standards
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues during installation by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions
• Perform setup, alignment, calibration, and verification of highly complex semiconductor capital equipment
• Collaborate cross-functionally with KLA regions, engineering, and customer teams to verify system performance and transfer tool ownership
• Provide clear status updates to all stakeholders throughout the installation process
• Complete installation documentation and administrative requirements accurately and on time
• Secure warranty sign-off on newly installed tools

• Strong knowledge of electronics, optics, mechanical, electro‑mechanical, and electro‑optical systems
• Experience with high‑vacuum systems strongly preferred
• Comfort working with computer systems, operating systems, and networking (Windows, Unix, or similar environments)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting abilities
• Highly self‑motivated, organized, and detail‑oriented
• Able to work effectively across cultures, functions, and geographies
• ASET minimum degree or equivalent work experience in supporting complex capital equipment for the semiconductor industry

Demonstrates expertise in the installation, calibration, and troubleshooting of complex semiconductor capital equipment, with a strong focus on electronics, optics, and high‑vacuum systems. Proven ability to collaborate cross‑functionally and provide clear communication throughout the installation process.
