Operate tractor-trailer unit safely in yard and on-site areas;
Maintain trailers by inspecting to ensure mechanical safety and emergency equipment in good working order;
Move trailers to designated locations within the yard using yard management systems or radio;
Maintain records/logs and forms required by the Department of Transportation;
Communicate with customers, suppliers, and associates to coordinate yard operations.
