Job Details / Responsibilities:
- Own day-to-day field operations
- Direct and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field labor to hit schedule, budget, quality, and safety targets
- Read and enforce drawings, specifications, RFIs, and change documents in the field
- Build and maintain look-ahead schedules; identify delays early and drive recovery plans
- Run daily huddles, coordinate inspections, and keep the jobsite organized, clean, and productive
- Enforce jobsite safety practices and company/OSHA requirements; stop work when conditions are unsafe
- Complete daily reports, photo logs, quantity tracking, and other field documentation
- Partner closely with Project Managers on manpower, materials, equipment, and owner/architect communication
- Receive, stage, and protect materials; manage tools and company-assigned vehicle
- Travel to assigned jobsites across West Virginia and neighboring project markets as needed
- Mentor foremen and field staff and set the standard for professionalism on site
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, or senior field leader
- Strong command of construction means and methods, sequencing, and quality control
- Ability to read plans/specs and run a jobsite independently
- Willingness and ability to travel to regional project sites
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record (company vehicle/allowance)
- Demonstrated safety leadership and subcontractor management skills
- Solid written and verbal communication; comfortable with daily reports and owner/PM updates
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather and walk active construction sites
