Schedule: This is a 12-hour night shift position, requiring weekend availability as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to mothers and newborns in labor and delivery.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs to ensure the safety of both mother and child.
• Administer medications and assist with labor processes, including assisting during C-sections when necessary.
• Stabilize newborns and ensure proper care practices in the nursery.
• Float to other units such as Med Surg or ER as needed, while maintaining readiness for deliveries.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring.
• Experience in Labor and Delivery, particularly with C-section circulation.
• Ability to work weekends and participate in holiday rotation as needed.
