Our client in Buckhannon is looking for a hardworking, motivated laboratory technician to join their team.

• Pay rate: $27-30 per hour.
• Day shift (subject to change).
• Paid training.
• Full-time hours.
• Clean and safe work environment.

• Testing and characterization of physical and chemical properties of a variety of materials (powder, liquids, solids).
• Use of saws, grinding, and drilling equipment to prepare samples.
• Use particle characterization equipment to prepare samples.
• Use and program high-temperature laboratory furnaces.
• Measure and analyze key process indicators and variables affecting manufacturing.
• Measure materials using a variety of equipment and devices including depth gauges, micrometers, rulers, tape measures, and other measuring equipment.
• Run maintenance and calibration of key lab equipment.
• Analyze materials and properties according to suitability for application.

• Positive, can‑do attitude.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in a technical field or comparable work experience (preferred).
• Metrology or measuring skills required.
• Detail oriented with the ability to keep accurate records and logs in a variety of databases.
• Assertive self‑starter with the ability to work independently on multiple priorities from multiple parties.
• Valid driver's license required.
