About the Role

We’re recruiting for a Workshop Technician on behalf of a respected commercial workshop in Buckinghamshire. This Workshop Technician position is ideal for someone with experience in plant, HGV, PSV, or mobile crane maintenance who is seeking a stable, workshop-based role with strong long-term prospects. As a Workshop Technician, you’ll work on a wide range of plant and crane equipment, supporting refurbishments and carrying out high-quality repairs and servicing.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Workshop Technician looking to join a skilled and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out servicing and repairs to mobile cranes on both a commercial and warranty basis.

Support the refurbishment of plant and crane equipment within a busy commercial workshop.

Liaise with customers to agree required works, action points, and expected time frames.

Work closely with suppliers to order parts and maintain a strong and accurate parts inventory.

Collaborate with the service team to ensure all tasks are completed in priority order and to high standards.

Skills & Experience Required

Background in plant, HGV, or PSV maintenance.

Mobile crane experience is highly desirable but not essential.

Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical knowledge.

Ability to read and interpret complex schematics.

Proactive attitude with willingness to learn and develop.
