Industrial Maintenance Technician
Division: Weir ESO
Location: Bucyrus, OH
Work Arrangement: Onsite, Full-time
Shift: 2nd Shift
Shift Premium: $2.00/hour
Competitive Compensation: $28.00-$32.00 hourly pay rate
What You’ll Do- Equipment Maintenance:
Maintain production equipment to ensure consistent, safe, and efficient operations on a daily basis. - Troubleshooting & Repair:
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime and restore functionality. - Preventative & Predictive Maintenance:
Execute scheduled maintenance activities to proactively address potential issues and extend equipment lifespan. - Installation & Modification:
Install and modify equipment to meet evolving production needs and improve system capabilities. - Shift Responsibilities:
Work primarily on the 2nd shift, adapting to shift-specific operational requirements. - Success Metrics:
Success will be measured by equipment uptime, safety compliance, and the ability to quickly resolve maintenance issues. - Safety First:

- High school diploma or GED.
- 2–3 years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and equipment installation.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues using meters and schematics.
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, including pipe fitting and OSHA Lockout/Tagout procedures.
- Experience using machine shop tools such as lathe, mill, and saw.
- Skills in welding and fabrication tasks.
- Ability to read blueprints and equipment instructions.
- Previous experience working 2nd shift or in a manufacturing environment.
