Director of Accounting

Overview

We are partnering with a high growth, private equity backed manufacturing company in Central Texas that is scaling rapidly following a recent capital raise.

They are hiring a Director of Accounting to lead and elevate the accounting function during this next phase of growth. This role reports directly to the CFO and offers meaningful long term leadership upside.

This is not a maintenance role. It is an opportunity to build structure, strengthen controls, and help scale a growing organization.

The Director of Accounting will:

• Lead the accounting function in a growth stage environment
• Strengthen internal controls and improve process maturity
• Enhance month end close and reporting structure
• Support ERP optimization and system utilization
• Mentor and develop a relatively junior accounting team
• Partner cross functionally with operations and executive leadership

The team is in place but requires a strong technical leader who can elevate the function and build scalable processes.

• Big Four or large national public accounting firm audit Manager or Senior Manager experience is required
• CPA required
• Ten plus years of progressive accounting experience
• Manufacturing client or industry experience strongly preferred
• Experience working within a large ERP environment
• Comfortable operating in a fast paced, evolving company

This is a high visibility role during an important growth phase. The CFO is motivated to move quickly and engage strong candidates.
