Leif Johnson Ford of Buda, a.k.a. Truck City Ford, a dealership within the Leif Johnson Dealer group, is seeking experienced service advisors to join our growing service department in Buda. We offer paid Ford Factory training, a guaranteed base pay and signing bonus for qualified candidates. As a service advisor at Leif Johnson Ford of Buda, you will be responsible for overseeing service orders and ensuring that our customers receive prompt and courteous service. You will take ownership of the customer experience and provide concierge support for all owner inquiries. You will also be responsible for efficiently distributing work among technicians, answering technical questions and assisting with the administration of warranty claims.
In addition, you will be expected to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and work effectively with little supervision.
To be successful in this role, you should have excellent organizational and communication skills, strong time management abilities and a professional, well-groomed appearance. You should also be team-oriented, self-motivated and able to maintain a clean driving record with a valid driver's license. - Oversee service orders and flow of Drive Lane. Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service
- Take ownership of the customer's experience by carrying out those additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave a positive impression with the customer
- Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether phone or in person, to assure the customer does not get mishandled
- Ensure the daily inventory of technicians' time is consistently sold to service customers
- Distribute work between technicians efficiently
- Answer technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs
- Maintain Customer Success Index at or above company standards
- Assist in diagnosing vehicle problems; order parts and tools as necessary
- Oversee administration of warranty claims as well as training and supervising of service department
- Reinforces company policies and adheres to company standards
- Encourages compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Maintain good working relationship with factory(s) and foster positive employee relations
