What Makes Us Different:
- Neuro-Affirming Philosophy:
We wholeheartedly embrace the neurodiversity paradigm, recognizing and respecting the natural variations in human neurobiology. We are committed to providing therapy that supports the unique strengths and needs of each client. - Anti-ABA/Behaviorist Approach:
We firmly reject the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and other behaviorist methodologies that aim to force conformity. Our focus is on understanding and supporting communication differences, not "extinguishing" them. - LGBTQ+ Affirming & Anti-Racist Practice:
We are deeply committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and affirming environment for all clients, families, and team members, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, race, ethnicity, or background. We actively work to dismantle systemic biases in our practice. - Strong Understanding of Neuro-affirming practices:
We value clinicians with a robust understanding of the neurodiversity movement, Autistic culture, and neuro-affirming therapy practices. - Client-Centered & Authentic:
We prioritize strong collaboration with families while empowering our neurodivergent clients (primarily Autistic and/or ADHD) to be their authentic selves without the pressure to mask or conform. - Calm & Supportive Environment:
Enjoy working in private offices within our (generally) calm clinic, fostering a soothing and supportive atmosphere for both therapists and clients. - Truly Collaborative Team:
We believe in the power of teamwork and offer a genuinely collaborative environment where you'll be supported by like-minded professionals.
