What a Branch Manager role at ICONIX looks like:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing branch team, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, safety, and customer-focused service.
  • Drive branch performance by evaluating operations, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing processes that increase efficiency, productivity, and overall business results.
  • Monitor branch financial and operational performance, leveraging key metrics and reporting to support informed decision-making and achieve business objectives.
  • Develop, manage, and forecast branch budgets, including operating expenses and capital investments, ensuring resources are aligned with business priorities and growth opportunities.
  • Champion a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with safety programs, facilitating training initiatives, and promoting safe work practices throughout the branch.
  • Oversee inventory management and purchasing activities, maintaining optimal stock levels while controlling costs and reducing SLOB inventory.
  • Partner with regional leadership and cross-functional teams to execute business plans, support continuous improvement initiatives, and deliver exceptional service to customers.
Here's a Snapshot of How You'll Contribute to Our Team

You'll lead daily operations by applying strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills in an ever evolving environment. Success in this role requires a continuous improvement mindset, the ability to analyze challenges, build strong customer and vendor relationships, and identify market opportunities that support business growth. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, database systems, and reporting tools is essential.

Experience in the waterworks industry or a related field such as utilities, industrial distribution, underground infrastructure, or construction supply is required. Candidates should have a solid understanding of industry products, market conditions, and customer needs, along with the ability to apply that knowledge to deliver results and support long-term success.

Success in this role requires the ability to balance operational, sales, and team leadership responsibilities while fostering a positive and accountable work environment.

To be successful in this role, you should have:
• A high school diploma or GED required.
• A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Sales/Marketing, or a related field preferred.
• 7 or more years of related industry experience, including at least three years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience managing a team of employees and supporting their growth and development.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and drive business results.
• A valid driver's license.
