Sales Representative

Part-Time Sales Representative. You will be responsible for greeting and assisting customers, maintaining a neat and stocked merchandise area, organizing and cleaning the sales floor, promoting the Northern Tool credit card program, selling extended service protection plans on qualifying items, and supporting the management team with day-to-day store merchandise and operations directions. Our mission is to provide tradespeople and weekend workers with the right tools and a hassle-free experience to get in, get out, and get on with the job.

• Spanish Language Skills preferred
• Schedule Requirements:
  Midday (Tool Time) and weekends

• Create a one-stop shopping experience with exceptional customer service and ask probing inquiries to understand customer needs.
• Greet customers in-store, assist with product selection, merchandising aisles and endcaps, and position merchandise appropriately.
• Offer protection plans on eligible products and promote our credit card on all customer transactions (incentive pay for selling protection plans and credit cards).
• Be a team player by assisting with tasks that improve the way the team serves our customers.

• Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer service experience is admired but not required.
• Flexible availability and willingness to work some weekends and holidays as needed.
• A love of tools & equipment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs.
• Service-focused mindset.
