Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm (possible overtime as needed)

We are looking for an individual with experience who can demonstrate a high-level of knowledge repairing technical mechanical equipment that requires precise measurements and high-quality repairs.

Responsibilities for this position will include troubleshooting, disassemble, inspect, and repairing all mechanical aspects of Water and Wastewater Pumps including Submersible Sewage, Vertical Turbine, and centrifugal pumps. Documenting all equipment conditions before, during and after repairs. Instructing JR Mechanics in proper techniques.

• Must be able to disassemble and reassemble various types of Pumps. We are specializing in Submersible Sewage Pumps, Split case, & Vertical Turbines.
• Knowledge of tolerances for bearing fit and clearances, motor connections, and testing.
• Knowledge of operating lifting equipment such as forklifts, hoists, and cranes.
• Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures; report all unsafe activity.
• Participate in team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of Pump repair experience.

• Experience with the use of a computer.
• Adaptability to changing priorities.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Self-starter and self-reliant.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High school or equivalent (Preferred).

• Related Pump Repair: 5 years (Required)
• Leadership Experience
